If you live that close, why don't you just walk? It's foolish to risk getting pulled over or hurting someone just because you feel the law doesn't apply to you. In fact, if you feel that strongly about the issue, why not run for some kind of office so you can change the laws? ... personally I wouldn't recommend wasting your money, that simply wont fly with most people who've lost someone due to a drunk driver. There isn't a lot of sympathy toward someone who simply wants to drink and drive.

I do agree with no job = no money (to an extent... it's amazing how some people who have no job always manage to have cell phones, cigarettes and/or alcohol.) One way or another, our pennies will end up helping them out. The real help would come if Marlboro would simply lower their prices.

Suggestion: Non supporters, why don't you pray for a better solution or that magic will rebuild/repair/reanything to CR and the rest of us will divvy up that extra penny. In fact, I have a lot of extra pennies I wouldn't mind ditching into the Cedar River.

...and if the river floods again this spring, take a serious look at the extra water tossed in today. I know I'll be suspicous.

Iowa is so adorable with all these budding comedians pounding on an old joke. I simply can't hear "sleepy" "sleeping" and "sleep" enough when referring to our Mayor. She really needs to burp or something so new jokes can bloom.

I trust you are all attending the coucil meetings, going through all their documentation and have a thorough understanding of how to run a city. I know no one would post negative comments simply because they were angry because they were denied some kind of permit or their lengthy unibomber-type letter wasn't responded to. Strong alternative ideas are always welcomed. I think they need great ideas pouring in right now... less jokes.

Just like holding fuel near a fire - it's just not a good idea. If you personally want to befriend someone who you have to keep an eye on at all times - thats your business, but otherwise I think it's solid advice.
