What's wrong with that? I would hope that all the professors have people checking out their class occasionally to see what they're doing. If you tell them you're coming, then the professor will teach differently because they know they're being observed.

The reason there's no retail is retail is dying. Complaining there's no bookstore is like complaining there's no blacksmith - those businesses are gone. Placing retail there so 5 people in South Boulder can shop in it twice a year is not a viable business model.

Having a bunch of empty storefronts serves no one.

Has C.U. ever explained why they consistently increase tuition at double the rate of inflation? And I'm not talking the charge after the state support, I'm talking the total cost per student which keeps growing at about twice the rate of inflation.
