"The Justice Department will prosecute anyone found to have violated U.S. law in the leaks of classified government documents by online whistleblower WikiLeaks, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday."

Good, I look forward to the prosecution of the New York Times...

Wikileaks was just the middleman, they do have it on their web site as well, but I doubt anyone would notice if it wasn't for the NY Times...
I just can't understand the indignant attitude expressed in the above quote.
I can tell that the DOJ is quite upset about the inability of our government to keep a secret. I just hope they will swing that Saber in the right place, and fire the government lackeys that allowed this to data thief to happen. Instead I fear it'll be just like that Military helicopter video, and they will also blast to pieces the wrong people.

Both the Obama Administration and the many other government institutions involved should be looking in the mirror regarding the leaking of this material. Imagine, millions of Government and Military types could review this material at their pleasure. Yet our government expected it to remain private... Really?
Yes, I'm sure it's a crime for Wikileaks to spread this material, but is it less of a crime for the New York Times (or any other paper) to print it?
The NY Times says it's OK, because other newspapers printed it. Really?
Funny, that "Everyone else is doing it" excuse never worked with my mother.
Does the Government have no respectability here?
Heads should roll at the Fed. I'd feel much better about the ability of our government to keep secrets in the future if only they would show some backbone, admit they had a problem, and fix it! And again HEADS SHOULD ROLL!
Yes, PFC Manning (if guilty) should be locked up for a very long time.
Yet, it seems like his crime was facilitated by very bad decisions at a much higher level.

Too bad we can't all have a job like Nancy has. You see when a congress person reaches 65, with 5 years service or more they get 80% of their full pay, and this is adjusted annually with the CPI. If they have 25 years in the congress and reach 50, they get the same deal.
Of coarse, no company could afford this type of pension allowance, they would go broke, just like our government has :-)

This is a joke right?
I see the “Fail Whale” about 20% of the time when I use Twitter. Is this just another idiotic statement? Has Obama really ever used Twitter himself? His comment makes me think not.
Twitter has no security, at all. The idea is for the conversations to be public. So, everyone will want to follow “RussianRed” and “USARed” so they too can watch the conversations of our glorious leaders! Then we could all DM them with our own ideas on how to stop the nuclear confrontation. Wow, I’m starting to convince myself here… (Well, not really).
Let’s see, all of the Twitter down time we’ve all seen will necessitate the government takeover of Twitter, then I’m sure there will be no more Fail Whales, right? Takeover is always the best idea when there are problems. And after all, they are always looking at ways to spend more of our money. I’m sure they can make Twitter into another multi-billion dollar government program, which is what this administration is best at. Thanks for the good laugh this morning President Obama, I needed it.

Anyone else notice, free abortion, but only if you keep this from your parents. Sorry, this is sick.
Who paid for this? The school?
The answer is US I'm afraid.

Include Barbara Boxer, as she was for it but was just another vote not needed. She is and should be nervous about her re-election.

Why does it matter what race they all are. you people are stupid!
It would be best if the parents of the bully thug kids were held responsible, this might curve this type of crime. But of course that would never happen. Our schools seem to fail us here to. Since they seem unable to teach the kids the basics, maybe they could at least teach them to be kind to your fellow humans?

You may have missed this, but what is a "social entrepreneur"?
Is that why Obama thinks he knows something about being an entrepreneur, because he was a "social entrepreneur" before going into politics?
Or, maybe being a "social entrepreneur" really means ripping off Social Security?
And then there is of course the oldest profession... Is a "social entrepreneur" just a fancy hooker?
Only our president knows for sure.

How anyone thinks that this government involvement will somehow save us from the cost of health care is beyond me. I don't have a problem with most of the goals, but I do not like the way they want to do it all at once. What ever happened to the idea of taking small steps. Why can't we do the things that are possible now, the things that we can all agree with, like tort reform, cross state purchasing? Maybe it's because we have a president that has a "it's our way or or the highway" attitude. Get a grip, it matters when we bill the rich to pay for the poor, since it's the rich that create the jobs people need right now! Too bad we have an administration that thinks they can't do anything wrong. I sure wish we had a president that knows failure so he might see this one coming.

Just another idea rejected, yet look how this administration was so sure it was a great idea and the right thing to do.
We can only expect more bad ideas and great failures for the next 3.5 years...
