I am all about him getting paid, but to be the highest paid offensive player after 1 great season should not happen.

Didnt like the trade until we picked up Johnson and Blountt as UDFA, teams really cant have a successful run game without a tolerable backup. Not saying Ringer can't do it, but i have no idea how he does at the pro level. So so long lendale, wish you luck.

Does suck for him. I can't really fault the guy for wanting to get paid. We have been pretty lucky recently that people only leave the team when their contract is up (cept Pacman) and its management not resigning them. Still bitter about losing McNair/Mason/"The Freak"/ and S. Rolle (man i loved him in 2k5). We have yet to have yambags like Marshall,Peppers, or Cutler pretty much demanding trades.

I still will always be a fan of the "bend but dont break" style defense mainly for the reason you stated. Also, like you said that worked like shit for us seeing as how we didnt pressure and had piss poor coverage (not cortland). That being said, I'm not sure changing our Defensive scheme is the best plan of action for developing guys like Tulloch and McRath, because i sure as shit think were going to go back to rushing 4 at the qb once we get a D worth a damn. I think it would benefit the lineman to learn they gotta get their ass to the qb and getting the skill positions used to coverage. But who knows, Cecil started turning it around last year (im ignoring SD) so well see what happens in the draft.

Cant forget a huge part: The Fans: NBA: No loyalty to home teams. More fair weather fans than any other sport. Since the regular season barely matters noone cares until last month or two which determines playoff seedings. Tend to follow players not teams. NFL: Fans live and die with almost every play, only fans i would say are up there are Soccer. Stay with their team for years through good and bad. Condemn just about any player that leaves their team to go to a rival. Best of the Best. Edge: Football.

I think i only hate Tebow because everyone is all on and around his nuts. In the right system i think he could succeed, like V-dub he isnt the best qb technically, but he is a straight up winner and that is huge. So this will be the only day ill ever say it, but hope he ends up on a team that lets him win games and not try to drastically change his play type.

He is old, hurt and on the back end of his career, but if he leaves I don't know who would lead our young defense. Finnegan is obviously our best player on D, but i will never see a CB as a defensive leader when the opposing offense can totally avoid that player for an entire game. Money will be the biggest issue, he is going to have to decide if he wants to play for the Titans or chance making money elsewhere. We have ALOT of holes that need to be filled, and will need all spare cap room (while there is a cap) to jack up our suspect D. From being a fan of course i hope he stays, but if he is going to slow down the rebuilding of our team hes gotta go.
