A request of our resident "administrator": Please come out of hiding and identify yourself. I and many others would like to know why so many of our thoughtful remarks are routinely being deleted at the expense of so much mindless silliness which you clearly favor.
Yes, and "91 fraud charges" is a LOT of stupidity... at least in my pedestrian ledger.
Her hand writing in the letter KCRG showed on the a.m. news today which was found at the scene of the crime looked incredibly prim for someone who was either just attacked (as she then claimed) or was about to commit the bloody deeds: like it had been pre-written.
Oh the powers of photography! Remember that All-American family portrait of Michelle and family which appeared on many internet news sites not so long ago? Step slightly forward in time and it's now impossible to find any photos of her that could even vaguely fit the definition: "cosmetically wholesome".
I'd look for the redshirt to come off 1 of the freshmen RBs; most likely Brad Rodgers. The downside is that the HUGE log jam of RBs in next year's soph. class may cause 1 or 2 transfers. I also heard that the coaches might try to get Richardson a 6th. year of eligibility by applying to the NCAA for a medical redshirt... We shall see.
"Drug abuse led to Twohy moving to Iowa City 18 years ago." Why Iowa City?
"Going armed with intent."? So this kid actually carried a big conspicuous frying pan into the old man's house as his weapon of choice?? Now this has to be a criminal first... even for Waterloo!
The somewhat off-target headline strikes me as more of a gimmicky play upon the well known Curt Warner story than a blatent editorial mistake: not really deceptive, just a locally based enticement to read a "feel good" story.
That's a risky hour for an Iowa City restaurant to serve food to zombies. It's my understanding that such hazardous practices must ALWAYS be terminated immediately at the strike of midnight and any restaurant caught breaking the rule will be severely reprimanded... Or, am I confusing zombies with ghouls or possibly some other weekend creature of the post-football game night?
I agree, thereal, but please understand that all the reactionary stuff that you read here is nothing more than people's reactions to the news that KCRG presents. When that very source reports a story which seems unnecessarily incomplete or compromised, then I see no reason why someone shouldn't step forward and inquire why. Providing ACCURATE news is, after all, KCRG's business not ours... Peace.
