Thank you Ron. I guess i was alluding to matters of interpretation, the older the document, the more subject to interpretation it becomes, and the less in touch with modern times. Many lessons are timeless, but many are in conflict and often selfcontradictory. IF the Bible is FROM GOD....then man is, in my view, butchering His words for a man's benefit. It is mans use of the Bible to tell man what is right and what is wrong....that I take issues with, I am a man of science. when a study comes out about a new drug....THE FIRST THING I ASK IS WHO WROTE IT? The biggest problem of all that i have about the Bible is its lack of direction on what to do on an overpopulated world....largely due to bilbilical teachings....save that for another day, thanks again Ron.

I have read Bible, and see little Christainity in todays conservative republican movement, yet is has blessing of religious right..
