That's your choice. If you read further it will also go toward a bulldog rescue of the owner's choice. If they decline to do a civil suit, then all the money would go to the bulldog rescue.
It's not about anyone suffering either, it's about doing what's right. This lady tried to help some unfortunate people and they took full advantage of it. She is only trying to turn this into a positive. If you don't feel comfortable donating to them, I would encorage you to donate to CASCADE BULLDOG RESCUE/REHOME INC http://www.cascadebulldogrescue.org/ They have a handful of dogs they take care of and always welcome donations.

That doesn't include civil trials. Yes they will be prosecuted for the crime, but what about the MONETARY portion of it that is up to the family to file. This family isn't trying to make any money doing this, they are trying to help other be aware of stupid criminals like this. Also help other families in the same situation. Just some interesting information, there are 4 other cases just like this that is happening in various west coast states, unfortunately they haven't found those dogs yet.
Get your dogs microchipped and download an application on the smart phone and get TAGG a GPS system for your dogs. I am afrench bulldog owner myself and can't tell you how devestated I'd be if someone stole and murdered my dog.

As a friend of the family I would like to thank all the support this family has received. There is a memorial fund for Jaggar set up at USBANK. The name of the fund is "Jaggar Bulldog Memorial Fund" this is for legal fees to help prosecute these sick meth addicted individuals and any additional money will go to a local bulldog rescue of Jennifer Thomas' choice.
Anyone interested is encouraged to donate so we can further help others and their missing furrmembers!
