Will Rogers had it right when he said, "I am a member of no organized political party. I am a Democrat."

Will Rogers said: "I belong to no organized political party. I am a Democrat."

Ms. "I Have the Votes" Pelosi has presided over one of the worst debacles in modern political history. Her legacy is secure.

Now go home.

Let's forget the show trial. Deport him to Nigeria, and once he is on the ground, hit with a Hellfire from a Predator.

That's Obama justice in Pakistan. Why can't it work in this case?

A logical question of Ms. Jen Psaki might have been, "So, how do you know that this was not the Bertha Lewis of ACORN?" Just because a flack says something doesn't make it true.

Also, at some point, I hope the White House can be forced to segregate their logs by those just participating in the standard tourist White House tour (I am sure the vast majority of names come from this activity), and those who are there to discuss policy or other issues with officials. Further, visitors should be required to provide either a home or business address which should be part of the PUBLIC record.

I'm sure the government prosecutors felt as confident going into this trial as they do now about prosecuting KSM in New York City.

Ooops!! Stuff happens.

Here's what I glean from this article: were I a tinhorn dictator in an impoverished country (particularly an impoverished Muslim country), I'd get me some "rent-a-Al Qaeda" types to set up shop in a remote area. Then I'd go to the State Department and tell them I needed a bunch of tanks and planes and stuff to deal with Al Qaeda.

Then I'd be set for life.

Actually, there seems to be a parallel situation developing right here in our country, where California is poised to ask (not for tanks and planes) but a bunch of our taxpayer dollars to "deal with" their huge budget problem, which has basically been caused by delivering lavish labor union contracts over many years (not to mention the millions of illegals living in their "sanctuary cities").

Gee, wouldn't it be nice if the reporting here gave us just the slightest hint under what provision of law this further injection of funny money is authorized? Have we gotten to the stage where Timmy Geithner can just write checks to anyone he wants, and no one asks a question?

I guess we have.

Why does everyone in this debate automatically introduce the most ridiculous strawmen?

"Profiling" is no different that what the intelligence community calls "fusion." Profiling involves assessing all the observables and assessing whether those add up to someone who should be further screened. Heck, one of the networks devotes an entire show to FBI "Profilers." (Criminal Minds).

Let's just use a rudimentary "Profiling" methodology: 5 points -- buys tickets with cash/5 points buys one way ticket/5 points-passport shows recent travel to Pakistan/Yemen/Somalia/Saudi Arabia, etc./10 points traveler is male under 32/5 points traveler is Muslim/etc. You get the point.

20 points or more and you get padded down. If you don't know the religion, so what? It's all called "Profiling."

One of the reasons he isn't in Church is that he doesn't want to listen to black preachers rail against gay marriage and abortion.

Plus, he was only going to the Wright Church for social/political reasons. No need now --- he's at the top.
