Unfortunately, the time warp aspect is that society's reality. This is revolting -- they speak as though they're visiting an amusement park!!! Murray was in an excellent movie about Cuba called "The Lost City" where the director & star Andy Garcia actually used some historical fact to tell the story of Cuba's last days & the revolution that catapults that society into that "charming" time warp. (I'm sure Garcia paid for that careerwise.) My parents left Cuba at that time & I grew up hearing about what Cuba was & what it became so this is totally sickening to me. Just more stars I can add to my "hate & won't watch" list.
