Nerds typically are not the "two people" you perceive. Nerds are always outwardly themselves to the point of awkwardness. Nerds are outcasts because they refuse to conform to the "public persona" . Nerds understand who they are, and therefor look for their perfect mate using a specific template. Hiding who you really are would attract someone who perhaps shares your style but not necessarily your interests. Mr. Chris plays D&D, video games, he's a huge music nerd, and the list goes on. He dresses like an old man. He's very proud of himself and everyone knows what a huge nerd he is (and everyone loves him)... His outward nerdiness is why he attracted another more busty nerd *cough*me!*cough* And can I just add, as his jealous wife, that he gets far more attention from girls in the 18-24 age bracket than I am comfortable with... As for your comments about how girls would not like Lord of the Rings... There are four girls who write for this site, and many more who contribute in other ways (ie comments and 'broad'casts). I think that you are putting an unfair and offensive stereotype on women, and a unrealistic stereotype on nerds. Who are you if not what others perceive you as...?
