Laura, #2 is partly right and wrong in my opinion. Getting rid of the IRS is a great idea, however, a flat tax is not the answer, because we've already tried this. America first instituted a flat tax back in the early 1900s, and it has turned into what we have today. The FairTax is a much better solution, because it takes the power of taxation away from the government, and puts it into the hands of the people. Wanna pay taxes? You do when you spend, under the FairTax. You get your whole paycheck, and pay 23% in taxes on goods and services. Simple, easy, and fair.

I believe in a "Fair Tax" also, however, what standard or method would you use to be fair to all taxpayers.And non-working people with disabilities within the working age of 18-50, how would this "Fair Tax" apply to them.

Yes, they will pick and choose will get medication, hospital admittance, and everything else that deals with health and care. Some people think it will be a free ride to health care and medical assistance. Think again.
