Bush had a CIA memo before 9/11 describing Bin Laden plans and he didn't care. (Maybe because this was during the time that he was the most "vacationed" president in history")

FEMA response was slow because "Browie - you're doing such a great job" (a Bush buddy) had never ran anything in his life. He was a "deer caught in the headlights" (kind of like Bush when he heard about 9/11 duh). Bush put a total moron in charge of one of the largest organizations in the US government.

You missed the point (which is understandable considering your posts), people without insurance go to the ER for normal Dr office type stuff because they are not refused at the ER. So we pay $100-$300 a visit instead of $20-$60 a visit at the Dr office. This shows in the fact that we pay about 20% of our GNP for health care compared to countries with much better care that pay about 7%-10%.

When you say "free market system" does that include NAFTA as well? I find it increasingly funny how most of the "Free market people" and "capitalist" on here are against NAFTA and want tariffs.

When Americans should be talking about Health Care, Jobs, etc. Repub's worry about ACORN, Ayers, Birthers, etc. No wonder this country got in such bad shape with Bush and the Repub congress.

BTW, it wasn't the healthcare industry, it was the "insurance companies" that paid to have the study done. A big difference. Now knowing the truth is it any wonder that it says what they wanted it to say? Only a tool would believe it.

The accountants that did the study (price waterhouse coopers) has even backed away from it saying that the Repub's only stated the cost not the savings they found.

What do you bet if they have a public option kick amount that the increase will never rise above that amount?

You are right the law of the jungle (evolution) is taking hold. Not later but now. It happened in the last election. Repub's are fewer and fewer. They have pushed so many smart people away that only the nuts are left. Even the teabaggers are pulling away from the Repub's.

Most Dem's knew what Obama was for-- ending tax breaks to the top 1%, stop stealing from the working middle class people of America and stop big oil and insurance companies from robbing us blind. It's really not that hard to understand, even Repub's should be able to.
