I'm proud to be associated with other patriots such as yourself.

A few minutes ago I E-Mailed Kindred Hospital in Texas and suggested that the supervisor who complained about the flag -- the one who has lived in America for 14 years -- reevaluate what, if anything American means to him or her. I further suggested that the patients and families who allegedly complained get a grip.

The fact that Debbie McLucas can now proudly display the flag speaks volumes that the voice of the American people still holds sway. I don't believe for a minute that the size of the flag was the issue. That is just spin from hospital PR personnel. Thank you FOX and the local Texas news media for exposing this ridiculous antic. Thank you Debbie McLucas for standing your ground. Old Glory rises supreme!

I'm searching for an E-Mail address for Eric Cantor that the public can have access to. I plan to E-mail him to request he remove Jeb Bush and John McCain and replace them with Governor Sarah Palin and Congresswoman Michelle Bachman.

I wish he would have voted NO to the last budget fiascos instead of teaming up with the other RINOs (Republican In Name Only). The Democrats aren't getting a prize. Arlen started out as a Democrat and switched to Republican for the same reasons he has now switched back. Those reasons have nothing to do with what is good for America but what is good for Arlen. I wish him luck with his personal revolving door.

What was Al Gore afraid of? What were the House democrats afraid of? It seems that "debate" is a dirty word when their position is challenged. As an American citizen, I'd like to hear both sides at the same time. Al Gore has never gotten over losing the presidency. The global warming cause was an easy consolation prize.

I can't help believing that all the democrats and others who condemn waterboarding would use the technique in a heartbeat to save a loved one from imminent danger. Shouldn't they consider America as a loved one? As to whether or not waterboarding is torture is still being debated. The American people need to get the "rest of the story" in having the memos released that would tell us what specific terror plots were stopped as a result of waterboarding. The president has cracked open a can of worms. Let him now open the can completely in order to clear the air.

Norm Coleman should pursue this issue to the bitter end. Why the people of Minnesota would ever consider the likes of Al Franken is beyond me. If this were a state senate seat, only they would suffer. Because this is a United States senate seat, all of us will reap the havoc if this idiot is sworn in. There are enough comedians in Washington, D.C., we don't need another one making laws that we have to live by.

You raise a good point. I wonder if President Obama would have had the same request if speaking in a Muslim mosque or Jewish synagogue. I'll wager they would not have complied the way Georgetown University did. I intend to write to the president of the university, John J. DeGiosia, to let him know how shameful these actions were.

This was not a public show of religion but rather a public official accepting an invitation to speak at a religious instituion. If our President wants to avoid anything that might imply that our governement is religious, he should not speak at religious venues.

I intend to contact Georgetown University to remind them that they are a Catholic institution. Nobody has the right to request that any symbol of Catholicism be covered or modified in any way on Catholic Church-owned property, be it the church proper or a lecture hall. Nobody includes the President of the United States. The students at Georgetown do not pay high tuition only to have their university officials give way to secularism. If the President does not wish religious symbols in the background or forefront of his speeches, I suggest he not speak at religious institutions.
