Berri was actually talking about the "Big House" not the "White House."

Breitbart.com : Critics of capitalism call global protest in June

So the "protestors" are giving us the choice of socialism, which has never worked, or capitalism, which has worked, but with cycles that allow the socialists to claim it doesn't work. I know which I'll choose, and I won't have to "occupy" anything or place in the process, nor take something from someone else to feel good. Why is it these socialist guys seem to think they act in a "spiritual" world, while all the while it's assets, coin, or chattels they want to "redistribute"? The 800 pound gorilla in the room is they want "stuff", but want it by proxy, legislation, or whining. What is the going rate for a "journeyman" whiner, BTW?

Obama thinks he doesn't really need to meet with anyone. Now that he has OWS, he just sends them emails, and they're very busy articulating his message...succintly. It's "you all OWeS Me"; so, pay up, America. Just send your check in to the Fedrall Gubmint (sic) and they'll "redistribute" it to a VERY "worthy cause." Solyndra, Sunpower; or, another stimulus that will go to public union cronies...you know...the "needy."

You are correct, but it's seemingly an antipodal reality to give this "tingle" guy a break when he was such a HUGE cheerleader. I do agree with you in the sense of "how the mighty have fallen" when the "tingle" guy is bashing him....

I read that Obama shut down all lemonade stands due to a recent "lemonade spill" and would not license them to run again until the proper authority comes out and makes sure that the lemonade has been properly cleaned up according to standards established by the "Federal Bureau of Lemonade Mixing, Stand-Management, and Dispensation."

Breitbart.com : Shooting occurs at UC Berkeley during protests

Amazing, isn't it? Actually, idiots like Paul Krugman have to graduate from somewhere and go to work somewhere (Berkeley?). He couldn't get a job applying theories that wouldn't actually work, so he got a job with the NYT where he could bombast without implementation and successive failure, and was then rewarded a "Nobrains Piece Prize" (sic) by likeminded bureaucrats who have sinecures from which they can pontificate without having to actually make a living off of "dumb as a sack of hammers" snake oil. I think the prizes actually come from a box of Crackerjacks, now...if Nobel were still alive, he might be tempted to dynamite the institution and start over. Only a bizarre environment the likes of Berkeley could combine a supposedly rational education in a discipline such as economics with nutbag, bizzare theories of "something for nothing" that gullible students will swallow, which no successful or potentially successful business would employ them to implement.

"We want to stay here to prove to the regents and state that we are part of this movement and that we want our tuition to go back to what it used to be, which essentially should be free," Varela said And Varela is a "fifth-year economics major"? Where's the money for your proposed education "freebie" coming from? I would suspect that you believe in many freebies, all to be provided at your whim or need by "da gubmint." What are they teaching you at Berzerkley for all the tuition you're paying? It would seem that you're not a "fifth-year economics major" but rather someone who has spent one month studying "social economic justice" 60 times. What do you read for course material; half-page story clippings interspersed with "Letters to the Editor" from "The Nation" and "Mother Jones"?

So we stand a good chance to lose a source of energy that's right on our doorstep...Iran goes nuclear, which makes the Middle East more volatile...thousands of domestic jobs that could be created...aren't...and energy prices will "necessarily" skyrocket, while the gubmint, under the brilliant, brilliant strategy of people like Chu, Holder, Geithner, and Obama "invests" in more companies like Solyndra. Someone out there tell me how higher energy prices, which makes EVERYTHING more expensive including all essentials such as food, shelter, and transportation, is such a great deal for "the litttle guy" who Obama and his buddies like Warren Buffett, George Soros, and Lloyd Blankfein "care so much about." It's pretty clear that Obama cares about social ideology and "change" more than he cares about individual people. Much more. As in the case of when you get sick, maybe you should take "the blue pill" rather than having other choices. His words....

Yeah...you know. Coupla years, smooth sailing. Europe will be back on track. Still have a few long-term bumps to sort out, but everything will be just peachy. Europe will take it's place again as an economic, manufacturing, growth powerhouse. Coupla years, yeah. No problem. That's all it'll take to sort out 100 years of decline. The geniuses have the solution now. Just need to print some money. Back soon.
