I think Portlandia accurately sums up its target city pretty well, as both are insufferable, tedious, and you find yourself wanting to be anywhere else than there after 5 minutes.

I've always thought radiohead were overrated. And honestly the worst people to represent the working class. They're a bunch of toffee nosed British public school twerps! Aren't they from Oxford? Fuuuuuuuck off.

I actually sort of liked tem until they started plagiarizing laughing stock era Talk Talk and aphex twin.

I used to go to the Godfather's in North Topeka when I was 12 because they had a NeoGeo with Sengoku and Samurai Showdown on it. Unfortunately the games were close to the toilets.......Cain totally looks like someone who would relish dropping a bomb after having a 6000 calorie meat lovers pizza buffet lunch right as I would be getting ready to bust out a Sempuuretsuzan.

Yay, I'm from Topeka! I grew up going to high school with the Westboro baptist church protesting outside (and one of the kids was actually in my senior year english class).

I live very very far from there now, whenever I go back it's eerie and depressing, it's kind of a ghost town with empty streets and pro-life billboards. I have no idea why my dad still lives there, he hates it.
