Quite right! The numbers have become so mind-numbingly large and oft repeated that they have lost meaning. When I was a kid, we only used the word "trillion" when discussing astronomy.

$800 Billion or $1.4 Trillion, it's kind of all the same anymore to the American ear.

Term limits seem like such a popular notion here, and Glenn Beck advocates them as well, but the sword cuts both ways. Just saying...
