traveller, I recently was at a 912 meeting and Beck was hardly mentioned. However the place was abuzz about big governemnt and our disgust. If in your opinion that makes us look like Beck, consider this:
Untold millions have read and done their best to "look like" Moses.
Untold millions are trying to look like Mohammed.
Untold millions have studied and dedicated their lives to looking like Jesus.
To this day we have people trying to look like Adolf Hitler.
Who do YOU look like. If you think it's cute to feign you're nobody's follower, you're not smart. Be advised: If you don't look like someone, share the same values with someone, then you're nothing and look like nothing. So tell us dear traveller, who do you look like?

After wars we have gone in and given away monies we could not afford to help restore cities, nations and even individuals. We are a humanitarian nation like no other.

Please, Mr. President, rather than side with those who want to bully a the tiny nation of Israel which is highly occupied with non-Israelis, may we please stand with the country hated by so many? Yes, they're mighty in strength to be so small, but we, the nation against bullies should play "big brother" and make certain that Israel knows there is someone out there who stands with them in this threat and all others. We don't have to agree with all they do, either politically or socially; we didn't the Kurds and many other nations. It's a matter of principle that I think should be given great consideration and commitment.

Mr. Obama,

Our country, no matter the motives that have been named, we have been a country of helping the "little guy." The Gulf War, albeit, I think, an exercise in policing another sovereign government under "U.N. mandate," was a great move to rescue, provide medical assistance and other services to the Kurds -- who are also Arabic people of Muslim faith.

We have an ally in Israel, albeit is weakening. Do we want to tell the world that we won't stand by those who have trusted us and stood with us? Israel, sits on approximately 1/6th of 1% of Muslim occupied/controlled lands. And at that, they're only portion of the occupants of those few square miles. To make matters worse, they have little to no authority over the kotel (wailing wall), what's left of the 1st century temple. Meanwhile, inches away is the magnificent Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Maybe The912Project can set up a means for support and the monies not go for the Beck show, but for printed materials, meeting places, lobbyists, litigators, and a host of brilliant ideas like the scroll in Orland.

In my opinion, money is cheaper than blood. Let's "fight the good fight" with respect to our constitutional rights and FORCE the buffoons in D.C. into shame (if they have any) for their acts of impunnity and self-aggrandizement.

If our government can tell us we need to sacrifice for THEIR polution of our rights, constitution and power, then surely we can sacrifice to hire Walker T.Ranger to once again introduce some people to his "Law" and "Justice." :- )

We've got to look at this in the long haul and commit to just that.

We 912ers (Maher and the media may call us Beckers) need to find a way to amass millions of dollars, lobby the fur off Congress, flood the nation with materials and hire lawers with the grit and stamina of men like Jay Sekulo. This is how we lost much of our rights and economy. Money is power and we need lots of it. Right now, newness and euphoria is great; but when this becomes a lasting commitment, we'll need a whole lot more that faces, voices and placards. We'll need massive money and litigators in D.C. who are like a bull dog trying to get all the stuffing out of a rag doll. This is how "they" won and this is how we must win. They surrounded Washington, now we need to dwarf them. It's just going to cost us a big screen tv or a trip to the Virgin Islands, or a boat on which to enjoy the last hours of our freedom. Glenn Beck said it well today. Either we take the brunt of the short term, maybe depression, or we sit back on our laurels and watch depression turn into economic collaps and the loss of the dollar.
