Well said Richie. It's damned if you do and damned if you don't. I have yet to physically visit the park, but from what I have seen, it's a marvel. Yes-the stadium reminds visitors of Ebbetts Field, but the history is all NY Mets.

Bro, did you even watch last nights game? They put a seven spot. It doesn't get any timley than that. And to top it off, Ollie looked impressive. You are in this win, win, win mode. Get over yourself!

Matty,

Congrats on the Pepsi sponsorship for the pre-game blog! I'm glad you are finally getting the recognition you deserve. You and your crew put a lot of time and effort to this site. :-)

Definitely Dirty. Shut him down in the interim. The last thing you want is to overuse Pelf to the point he may need TJ Surgery. The season is young. That's why Minaya has a surplus of pichers down on the farm. Hopefully, those AAA pitchers can provide some competitve streak.

Each Ollie start should be taken with a grain of salt. One day you get the erractic Ollie and the next you get the Ollie who dominates. I commend him though.

Well you would have to think the "ball" is in his court now. The Mets need an arm, and according to the Post Minaya received permission to open up the vault. Plus, he may be the only big name avalable on the free agent market. I could be wrong though.
