Mr. Letterman needs to realize that having a baby out of wedlock does not make you a prostitute and making lewd jokes about her was not only deaming to women, cruel and disgusting, it was also hypocritical......Or is conveniently forgetting that his own son was born before he got married? How would he feel if people made these types of "jokes" about his wife just because he is a public figure?

I know it's frustrating not to be able to see your blog, but there are thousands posted here and they get moved down the list as new posts go up. It took me a long time searching before I found one of the ones I posted just a few minutes before. But rest assured it was there. I've been watching all news organinzations very closely and no one has asked any of the "experts": the question I want answered....."What are the odds that a swine influenza will combine with avian and human influenza naturally?" Sorry, I hate consipiracies, but this thing stinks to high heaven. Is this strain engineered? Why isn't anyone asking? Are we under a bio terroristic attack? The only ones asking are conspiracy web sites and I want to hear the answer from a legit source.

Glenn dedicated an entire show last Friday to the shootings at the American Civic Association community center in Binghampton in an attempt to figure out, "why." Glenn's conclusion that this man was disturbed was correct, but I have a take on why he chose these people as targets. I work at a Catholic church that has a very active outreach ministry and see how people begin to feel as though we "owe" them the world. The more help you give them the more they feel we owe them. We walk a very fine line between showing compassion and showing tough love. We want all the people who come to us to someday stand on their own two feet.

From what I have heard, the American Civic Association is an immigration advocacy group who lobbies for less stringent immigration laws. They do a lot to help new immigrants assimilate into our society, but I wonder how much help is too much? When we promise the moon and stars to people and take care of all their needs, we become like parents.... and when things don't go right in a kid's life, who do they blame first? Parents!
