Definitely the golden Lancer Assault Rifle. Who wouldn't run from a glistening, beautifully gilded chainsaw of death? It's already a useful weapon, and iconic of the Gears of War series. It's a weapon that's instantly recognizable and near and dear to many gamers' hearts. It's got a high rate of fire, large ammo capacity, decent damage with sustained barrages, and it's one of the most accurate automatic weapons in the world of video games. It's also (according to story) one of the most consistently-used weapons in COG history, as noted by the older Lancer from the Pendulum Wars ( http://gearsofwar.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Lancer.gif). But, Devin, why choose me to receive one of the coveted golden weapon codes? Well, my motivation is simple. I'm not only a huge fan of the game, bit I'm also actually really good friends with one of the lead designers at TriForce, one of the first companies to construct a 1:1 replica of the Lancer and produce it for retail, but I just can't afford the $949.99 price tag. I know he didn't get the Limited Edition and he couldn't make it to Midnight Madness, and I want to make him jealous for a change. :-p Here's hoping I get picked!
