Transparency: the Obama administration’s unmasked relocation of money and power from the general population to the labor unions. He and his DC disciples, have given them Chrysler, GM and exemption from the proposed health care benefits tax. Is it just me, or does this feel suspicious? Is this transparent and unabashed redistribution of wealth and power the end game? I have to wonder. To what purpose would Obama align himself so tightly with the Unions? This is what isn’t so readily apparent. What is he up to? Maybe just the relocation of power and wealth, but I think it is dangerous to make that assumption. We know he was involved with Community Organization Intl, formerly known as ACORN, up to his eyeballs. We also know that Community Organization Intl, formerly known as ACORN, is equivalent to taxpayer funded mafia, and that it is actively involved in the destruction of American Liberty as we know it. Kind of like being shot with your own gun. I think there is a good chance that there is more to the story than the redistribution of wealth/power.

I also live in the middle of nowhere, but every year during the first week of August, bikers swarm the area from literally everywhere. Since such a large number of them are going to be here anyway, it may be a good place to start from. Just an idea.

The rate at which congress is willing to spend our money is astonishing. Stop now. No government option health care plans. This is just one more thing added to the long list of power removed from the people and given to the government. If you would do the things that we expect you to do, such as secure our borders, enforce immigration laws and do something about frivolous lawsuits, health care would begin to reform itself. Direct government involvement in health care, or any other private personal matter, is unacceptable.

I would like to see the comparison of estimated cost of the Kennedy care bill vs. the estimated cost of no health care reform at all. I can't imagine that if we leave things the way they are that cost will approach anywhere near a trillion $. It would be nice to put the argument of "health care reform will save us money" to rest.

I have been concerned about what could happen with TARP funds in the event that the banks and others were allowed to pay it back. Now it seems that the powers that be are allowing at least some of the TARP money to be returned. Now I'm really concerned. Less that a week ago S.1242: Government Ownership Exit Plan was introduced and referred to committee. It requires the government to divest ownership interest acquired with TARP fund by July 1, 2010, and prevents any further government acquisition of ownership. It also requires that all proceeds from repayment and sale of ownership interest go directly to reduce the public debt. So far there are 12 senators signed on. I am a small business owner pretty weary of hearing about how selfish I am. I do not have health insurance, and cannot afford to offer it to employees, as much as I would like to. As for the "unfortunate parents", nobody is forced to work for the "selfish". In this GREAT nation you have the option to be self-employed or find employment that does offer health benefits. These options are available to those that are courageous enough to take responsibiltiy for their own fortune. You get to do that in the United States of America. Just as a side note, universal education is quite possibly the most dangerous thing I've heard of.

I found this website watching Glenn on FOX News. I am here now because I have literally cried thinking of how things are shaping up for my small grandchildren. But tears aren't enough. I have to do everything in my power to make sure that their freedom is secure. I came to this site for that reason. I have only been a 912er for a few days and I expected some of what I found here and some of it I didn't. I expected to find anger, and I did. I have also had "blood shooting out of my eyes" repeatedly over the last several months. What I didn't expect is that it would be so difficult to find action oriented projects to participate in. I'm in.

Yesterday s.1242, the Government Ownership Exit Plan, was introduced and referred to committee. The text isn't available yet, but the press release from Senator John Thune says "a bill that would require the federal government to end its ownership of private entities acquired under the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) by July 1, 2010. The bill also prohibits the future acquisition of new or additional ownership interests in private firms through the use of TARP funds and prevents the federal government from making management decisions in private companies in which it has an ownership interest."
