Escape From New York - cool!
Escape From LA - not as cool. Even though it does have Peter Fonda surfing in it.

Wow, it's a troll pig-pile on this thread! All the bridges in DC must have thawed for them to come crawling out and bravely defend a hack comic.

Then it must have been completely staged event. You've got a talking head reading replies from a teleprompter to prearranged questions from talking pressheads - whose supposed to be the audience? The gullible US public. If I wanted to see something like that, I'd go to a movie, or better yet, Disneyland and see the animatronic presidents. At least I'd be somewhat entertained.

Have you ever done any public speaking? Do you know how hard it is to keep composed when you're in front of a large group and you're trying to get your point(s) across and do it in an orderly manner? If all she used was 6 lines on her hand, she can do better than I, and I've had to do some high-level briefings in my career - usually with the use of powerpoint slides and rehearsing beforehand.

You have the temerity to whine now? You must have a very selective memory of the past 9 years, when the libtards derided G.W. Bush and any other conservative that popped up on their radar screens every time they opened their cakeholes.

And who's words are on that teleprompter? Certainly not 0bama's. They're written for him by the speechwriters and edited and re-edited and only then does he get to robotically read the finished product. And then what do we get? Corpseman? You know that ain't the only example. Sarah, using only about six phrases written on her hand or on a 3x5 card can deliver a whole speech from the heart - something 0bama doesn't have.

OK, for the sake of decorum, I will observe a moment of silence for him, and then back to business. Moment of silence over. So how are we going to get an R in his seat?

All right, I'll have to add a couple more that may mark me as seriously disturbed, but here goes:
A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum - Zero Mostel, nuff said. I kind of lump this one in with The Russians are Comingx2 and It's a Madx4 World.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - Steve Martin & Michael Caine trying to outcon each other - great fun.
Hollywood Knights - How to describe this one? I'm not even going to try.
Tunnel Vision - add to KFM & Groove Tube for a trifecta
Whoopie Boys - amazing cast and very low-brow humor, always good for a laugh.
Without a Clue - More Michael Caine madness, with Ben Kingsley desparately trying to rein him in.
These, with the others I've mentioned in other posts should bring it up to my top 20. I can reliably switch off my brain, watch these and the world is better for me.

Update! Sadly, the Boomstick Edition is out of print, though I could pick one up on Amazon for $80+! But, there is a BluRay Screwhead Edition which I just ordered, as well as the BluRay of Evil Dead II. Looks like I'll be busy and not to be disturbed on a future Saturday afternoon. If the European version, or at least the ending isn't available on the Screwhead edition, I'll keep searching.
