Arbeloa is not a bad right back, like everyone makes him to be. He is defensively very sound, reads the game well and is super disciplined. Attacking might not be his forte, but after all he is a right back not a wing back

My point still stands. The way we play, we need a special kind of keeper. One that can pass the ball like an outfield player, one that can make saves in one-on-ones. Valdes has those qualities. Hart doesnt.

The problem with Valdes is his inconsistency. Valdes was terrible in the big games this season and probably cost us a place in Munich. He was pretty damn good for the first three years with Pep, though, and I dont think there are better keepers available at the moment.

I have to say that you dont seem to understand neither Barca or the art of goalkeeping. Joe Hart might be a good goalkeeper suited to life in the PL, but he would never make it at Barca. He doesnt know how to read the game, he is terrible with the ball at his feet and he isnt good enough on one-on-ones
