Solution: Come to CPAC, meet the bloggers and get them to write about it. Provide them a quick fact sheet, etc. Should you have to do this? No. But, will it likely work...yes. But, a major reason is the feeling of powerlessness. If this story is talked about...many people don't know what they can do to take action. With other policy areas, people can call their congressman or protest, etc.

It depends where you read what he actually said. To the best of my knowledge, he wanted people to donate directly to private charity and not the government. I think that is good advice.

The fact that Alex Jones just commented on this infuriates me. Alex Jones is a conspiracy nutcase, and therefore everything he touches is perceived as a conspiracy. In fact, the fact that Alex Jones brought this up means mainstream people may intentionally ignore it. I had no idea Alex Jones brought this up today, none whatsoever. I wish he hadn't.
