Gonna be tough to get those few wins and have that bandwagon too full considering we left the Big 12 in 2011. And I'm as die-hard as they come, but step away from the kool aid for a moment with the "excellent chance" of beating Oregon comment. A chance, yes. But they are worlds away from us in terms of talent and it truly would be one of the most shocking upsets in CU history. Let's take the 3-1 start for what it is: less than any of us really wanted or expected, but infinitely better than things have been. Our Buffs still got beat by a bad Hawaii team that lost by a combined score of 66-0 to two Big 10 powers. A lot of work remains to compete in a very competitive Pac-12. Go Buffs!

Honestly, is there ANY positive from this game? Miscues galore (Really, Shay? It was inside the freakin 50), a god awful kicking game, an offensive line that will get Sefo hurt at some point, and a team that still has no idea how-or what it feels like-to win. How can they not realize every single second is gold when there are no timeouts left and you're down not only a TD, but also the 2 point conversion. NO urgency whatsoever. What was that horrid play call nowhere near a sideline at the end of the game? Surely I can't be the only one who thought that was completely asinine being down 8. I drank the Kool Aid and it turned out to be laced with black and gold cyanide. I swear I saw major regression in this game. As much as the announcers irked me, the one clown had it right when he said "Colorado looks like a team that just wants to get on a plane and go home." No fight tonight like the 2014 Buffs. This team showed me nothing tonight and will be lucky to avoid going winless in Pac-12 play again. I rant because I care and I'm sick of seasons being over before league play even begins. Go Buffs.

Rick George won't be hesitant to get rid of Tad. Really? We careful what you wish for. CU was a Big 8/Big 12 doormat before Tad came along. If he left CU, we'd be a Pac-12 doormat instead of expecting so much more from these guys. Maturity continues to be an issue with Gordon, Xavier, and even Booker being disciplined this year. Tad doesn't look the other way when these guys do something wrong. For that, he has my respect. Injuries doomed us this year, but don't give up on this team yet. They're still young and don't have a true leader yet. Sadly, Josh Scott was the man to step up and he got hit with a nagging injury. Bad scene. No question that Utah is a very strong team and they got us good. It is indeed an unacceptable outcome. But to even be throwing around the idea of RG getting rid of Tad anytime in the near future is absolutely ridiculous. Study the not so glorious history of this program, the history of difficulty recruiting to Boulder, and what Boyle has accomplished since he has been at CU (namely four consecutive 20 win seasons, a school record for season wins, and a Pac-12 title) and you will quickly realize that we are not going to find a better coach than Tad. Stand behind him when times are tough-we owe it to him. Go Buffs!

This may be the best DC forum comment I have ever read. Ever since my time at CU in the late 90s, the city has tried to impose a vision of The Hill that was never desired by its core constituency: the students. It has led to urban blight that is so bad that local businesses are largely gone and can only be replaced with housing. To solve the problem is simple: stop coddling the Hill Neighbors and cater to the students. Tulagi, which once was going to have a really cool Cuban-themed restaurant and rooftop area, is now a yoga studio. The bar formerly known as Nick's has become the home of a Republican National Committee flag on an apartment balcony instead of quarter beer nights under the glorious Colorado sky. The Hill Neighbors have won and the City of Boulder is too naive to figure out WHY the area has failed. Outside of The Sink, there is no reason to go to that area anymore. I find it horribly depressing when I compare it to the area loaded with character (and certainly characters) that I roamed as a CU student in the 90s.

Bring back reasonable liquor licensing and CU students will abandon Pearl Street in a heartbeat. Tulagi will rise again and The Fox will go back to the glory days. It took the Boulder City Council 36 years to get the memo that Prohibition ended, and the City Council seems to be doing their best to return to those days. This isn't Waco, Texas, yet I find it interesting that Boulder's "leaders" align so well with far right Southern Baptists when it comes to regulating alcohol. As the original comment alluded to, quit trying to sanitize an area that needs to be funky-and flowing with booze-to thrive.

Mother Nature can be unforgiving, and winter in RMNP is certainly no exception. Experienced Coloradans with proper gear don't often attempt the feats that a random new yorker in tennis shoes wants to conquer. This guy reminds me of people who defy evacuation orders as raging wildfires take direct aim on their homes. In either case, what are you hoping to accomplish, and what do you really think the end result will be? There are certain times in life when you can't be bothered with complete fools. This is one of them.

Well said. Much respect for Embo as a person and former Buff, but every JE player we lose to graduation or attrition gets us a new player to reestablish the culture of winning at CU. I wish Crowder all the best as he moves forward.

McChesney may say things that annoy or p-ss off people, but the man absolutely bleeds black and gold. I sat next to him at football games during the disastrous Embree tenure and he is disgusted with the continued losing state of the program. He seemed to know more about the missed schemes than the clueless coaching staff did. Enough with this "hope for the future" garbage-we need to start DOING as a program. Are you people not sick and tired of waiting for next year while our Buffs snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? He would do anything to get the program back to the level where we were when he played…Big 12 Champions. He brings a tell it like it is toughness that we haven't had since the Barnett era. Buffs with proven history as winners only help us, and anyone who has followed Matt while he has been at Six Zero should take note of the offers the kids he is training are getting. All the haters out there need to go whine and cry with the high school coaches that hate the fact he is teaching their kids more in the gym over a month than most of those washed up retreads do in a year. Even if things don't work out, I am glad the AD is at least reaching out to him.

Why is there a Colorado Department of Wildlife logo in the Buff Zone section of the Camera?

If you truly believe the Gold Lot is the finest tailgating spot in the country, you haven't got out of Boulder much. It is a nice area with beautiful views that is convenient to get drunk on. Do we really want to continue to hold our athletic department back just so we can have tailgating next to Folsom? The practice facility is not a want-it is a dire need. I'd prefer to go back to the days when we actually won and didn't have to get self-medicated in order to watch the Buffs.

Rick George has been nothing short of incredible with both fundraising and morale for our athletic department. As a loyal CU alumnus, I could not be prouder of the job that he has done as AD at CU. Thank you, Mr. George. Go Buffs!
