Found guilty of kissing a minor that is under your care because of behavioral issues and then you follow-up with e-mails wanting a romantic relationship. I don't think being put on the list is too harsh. She has proven that she can not be a responsible adult around children. She was the adult, she knew it was wrong. She should have pushed him away before the kiss happened and certainly should have kept the fingers off the keyboard and should have never sent e-mails asking for more. Would you feel the same way if it was a male counselor kissing a female minor?

My prayers go out to the families and the friends of those killed in this accident. Thank you to the truck driver that stopped to help. He is in my prayers also as he will have to relive what he saw this morning for a long time.

Fayette County Sheriff shoudl be recognized for such great work. Now, what about those that own that carnival that was in town - they should be fined for not doing a background check on their employees. Makes you wonder if others that worked for that fair were also sex offenders from another state.

"We're put on this earth no to see through each other but to see each other through." My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

This tells us for the guidelines for fires within the city limits. Are these the same rules for burning in the county? Those of us on Blairs Ferry road were told we couldn't open burn anymore because we were within a mile of the city limits so I assume that these "fire pits" in the city can be used out in the country too. With that said, I don't think that anyone should ever have a fire unless they have an adequate water supply within arms reach and the fire should be attended the entire time.

I live on the north side of Cedar Rapids and first saw a flash of light out of the corner of my eye. I looked out the front door and couldn't believe it. I thought it was a plane on fire coming down at first. It was an amazing thing to see and even better now that I know that it was a natural even and not a plane on fire.

I am not sure I like the fact that a sign is collisions or driving violations. I hope to be able to have an indication it is time to ask for the car keys from my parent before either of those things happen. I hope the doctor can see signs that stress a red flag so things can be adjusted before the accident occurs.

Beautiful dress and vest. With the drive to start saving the wrappers since last August and finishing the project -- those are two skills that will take you a long way in the business world. Keep up the good work and always keep that "can do" attitude!

What a beautiful cat. I know that if I had her in my arms it would be hard to let her go. I hope they find the rightful owner - someone has to be missing this beauty. You can tell by the video that she doesn't mind being held, she seems to like being around people, she would be an easy cat to fall in love with. Too bad the owner didn't put a microchip in the neck so it would be easier to return.

This teacher should get the golden apple award. Imagine if those lights and the ceiling tiles had fallen on the students. High five to the teacher and another to the students who moved as told.
