Hi there guys! First of all i would like to thank the Dev-team and all associated helpers in keeping us all ihappy! Im truly grateful for the hard work! Once again im looking at updating and jail breaking my iphone 4; version 4.3.1 with the 0.1.59.00 firmware. Although before i begin the process i had a couple of questions, namely...can i use Redsn0w to jailbreak and unlock my phone, with the intentions of using Ultrasn0w? or do i have to use Pwaga? Redsn0w is more user freindly, thus the question. Many thanks.

Basically, i use pwnage to activate and build a custom FW, however during DFU mode in itunes, all of a sudden i get again the same message that im not eligible. During the contact with apple it simple stops. Same problem as before.

Thank you asachan for your reply, regarding the SHSH...i thought thats used mainly for downgrading? Im already at 4.2.1, and want to upgrade. I havent saved a SHSH FW, so i take it that im F*cked. Is there no other way?

Thank you Frank55 for your reply, however im not looking to restore it to 4.2.1 i do want the 4.3.1, but the itunes wont restore. I have a feeling the firmware i downloaded was corrupted. Do you perhaps have an idea where i can download the 4.3.1 firmware that actually works?
