The last SALT II treaty caused us to remove numerous ICBMs from service. A number fakes were removed, their engines were pulled and are commonly sold to government contractors (via ATK) for use in other programs. None of those engines have any radiation effects of sitting so close, for so long, to a nuclear weapon source-- and they should.
