Honestly, I think the X-Men are always at their best (in both comics, films, and even the animated TV series) when they work as a team and there's an ensemble effort going on, otherwise it runs the risk of alienating some fans. Personally, I couldn't care less for Gambit (and even Wolverine isn't that interesting on his own) but stick a bunch of the mutant together and then I'm interested.

First pic there looks a bit like a robot version of the Cloverfield monster...that's a good thing.

Yep, I'm thirding the Death Race (remake) feel to it. Also, is it just me, or is Dexter dancing? (just after the "Michal C Hall" credit comes up, it really looks like he's giving it jazz hands...)
