Thank you so much for the enlightening article. You explained each point so nicely. I, too, believe that charity ought to come from the heart, not from government mandate. Of course, we do need some sort of national system to help with certain charitable works, but the bulk needs to be local -- be it from churches, community outreach programs or individual giving and caring.

I also liked the point about personal responsibility and looking inside ourselves. It's so easy to blame others or circumstances when we don't succeed or go off-path, but some introspection often gives us a more truthful perspective.

How does it slow down your browsing experience? It doesn't affect the search box or time for results to display at all (at least not for me). Could you explain, please? Thanks.

It's really heartwarming to see the families' communities reaching out to help. So much bad and sad news everywhere we turn...makes my heart glad to see how much people truly care. I hope and pray the family gets some answers soon, and of course sweet little Kyron remains in my prayers as well. Come home soon!

Quaere, one reason it may seem like a witch hunt to you is that we aren't dealing with something like missing money here, where no one cares if it takes a year to get answers. We're dealing with a little boy who, with every day that passes, is less likely to be found; who could be undergoing unspeakable cruelties; who is terrified and needs to be brought home (that is, if he is even still alive, which I unfortunately doubt).

So, while people realize that the legal system has to play out the way it is designed to, at the same time, Terri at the very least has not been as cooperative as she should have been with LE. There is some reason she hasn't been. Who would *not* bend over backward to do absolutely everything in their power to help -- no matter what anyone else thought or suspected of you -- when your child is GONE!

Of course she has the right not to incriminate herself and a myriad other legal justifications for clamming up and/or lying. But NONE of those point to her not having some knowledge she hasn't shared, at the very least. So people are upset that while this precious little boy is undergoing God-only-knows-what, one of his mothers declined to continue to try to help LE, even though she had not been charged with a single thing.

Unfortunately, as was the case with Casey Anthony, you can't force someone to tell what they know or what they did. And all the while, a child suffers either being away from his family or has suffered the cruelest fate of all. It isn't that people aren't aware that we are all afforded protections under the law; it's that this "mother" chooses SELF-preservation over the welfare of her own child that makes people so upset with her.

While I don't care for and don't engage in rumor-slinging, if I'm going to care about anyone's legal rights, it's going to be those of a helpless, innocent child whose rights disappeared along with him...not the person who has a high-powered lawyer making sure her right of IUPG before a judge and jury is upheld.

He is not a "whiner" in the least. He is trying every means at his disposal to put pressure on Terri to tell what she knows. I think the bio parents as well as LE believe she either did something with Kyron herself, had someone else take him, or at the very least knows something about it -- and she won't tell what she knows!

I think KH and DY have actually been extremely restrained. If I were in their shoes, I would have throttled her with my bare hands til she told me every single thing she knew. I can't believe you would refer to this devastated, grief-stricken man -- whose son has disappeared and whose wife tried to have him killed -- as a "whiner," for heaven's sake. I'd like to see you or anyone else handle things any better than he and DY have done.

I know, cjcct -- I can hardly bear to look at the pictures of Kyron with that darling, always-smiling little face. He is so precious -- as are all children, of course, but there seems to be something extra sweet and special about little Kyron. Just breaks my heart that anyone could ever do him harm or that harm befell him after wandering off or such.

I have so much respect for LE. I don't doubt that they know what they're doing, I'm just so afraid that if someone doesn't give up some info, they might be losing valuable time in searching for him. Heck, even non-trained, non-certified searchers out looking for Kyron is better than no search teams at all. Just the sheer number of people who would be willing to help might result in someone finding something.

I'm just so frustrated and so sad-hearted for this adorable little boy. I hope I didn't come across as anti-LE; I most definitely am a huge supporter.

Wow. While I don't think it was any secret to most that TH posted those comments, I find it disturbing that any website would decide to out any of their commenters.

I fully understand turning the info over to LE if you think it might help or they request it, but to just decide you'll reveal a user's identity to get yourself a little more traffic is a pretty low thing to do, in my opinion.

I have backed LE completely up to now. Today, my thinking has changed a bit. How long are they willing to wait for TH to "break" and give them the information before they let the public know what they have so that the thousands of people following this case can put their collective heads together and possibly come up with something to help.

Give the professional searchers willing to help something of Kyron's so their dogs can track his scent. Let citizens organize searches and cover every inch of that city. Whatever LE is doing just doesn't seem to be working to find this child. At what point do you say to the public, "This is what we know and we need your help to find Kyron before all the evidence associated with his disappearance is so degraded that it's useless."

We're going on a month here. This child needs to be found!

Hi, Candice. The pictures are all SO happy and sweet. They will tug at your heart, but you will be glad that you looked at them. :)
