Billy Long tries to portray himself as just the normal guy--the "citizen"--hoping to go to Washington. While he avoids the career politician profile, he seems to forget Washington DC is full of millionaires like Long himself, and they have become part of the problem as they are out of touch with the people struggling to pay their mortgage, car payment, and taxes. The truth is, all the men running for Congress are citizens. Most of them have better ethics and a better resume over Billy Long. Long thinks no earmarks and Mel Hancock is enough to get him a seat on the hill, but the truth is Long is incapable of engaging in a debate; therefore he continues to drop names and tell anecdotes hoping you won't notice. All the while, a fifth ethics charge is about to be filed with the Federal Election Commission and he continues to lie about his gambling problem, which has led him to drop the average median income of the Seventh District in a couple of rounds of poker in the World Poker Tour. longiswrong.com

Or were just hoping to defend another Democrat who didn't bother to listen to the people she supposedly represents? I didn't see any polls coming from Arkansas that showed healthcare was popular. You may want to consider donating to the Billy Long is Wrong Political Action Committee. Billy has such a huge lead financially over the other candidates, but he consistently shows he's a weak leader. You can make donations to the Wrong is Long PAC on the site as well.

It's going to hit close to 255 if the climate legislation and treaty is signed. American companies will exodus to China and Mexico where they won't face high enviornmental taxes. I am not hopeful for the immediate future.

You don't train on minors, especially a girl when you are a man. If you do, you don't put your hands all over her. The cops said many things during the pull over that they obviously weren't threatened by this girl. I am sure there were plenty of balding fat men in Nixa they could have practiced on, but they chose a young girl. Their judgment was poor.

Really, you would be happy the police put their paws all over you daughter in order to 'practice.' What kind of parent would want any man to put their hands on their teenage daughter? This girl was no threat to the officers, and frisking seems way out of bounds.

I think Carnahan is in some real problems. Many St. Louis small businesses aren't really happy with his anti-small business voting record this year. Remember the bakery that runs the anti-Carnahan sign. All the Carnahans need to go bye bye in Missouri.
