I doubt that a guy like Obama ever had many real "friends". Most of his so called friends are actually followers. People like that eventually get what they deserve. "What goes around, comes around"!

Maybe some of these followers on the political trips should stay home and read some legislative packages. I'm sure more legislative voting is upon us and I can only hope that these political puppets realize they have an obligation to the citizens they represent and should vote for nothing if it has not been fully reviewed and understood. My god, what is happening! I believe that this place we are at in history will reflect serious changes in the way this country and its citizens exist. Much like the revolutionary war, Indian wars, world wars and the worst... internal Civil war. I am truly afraid of what is coming if things don't change.

Then can you tell me who the enemy really is, because there is certainly one out there.

If you send a tea bag in an envelope to the White House, those paranoid fools will treat it as some kind of suspect substance and the ATF ,Secret Service, FBI, CIA, NSA. local police, state police, Sheriff, and the town constable will be at your house to confiscate all your kitchen ware to make sure that you are not a threat to national security.

Hello trundle923: I agree...Some people simply just don't get it. You can bang your head against the wall with your views all day long and they will still have the same mindset. That is their right. The one thing that is different with individuals like us is that we understand that it is their right and we would respectfully disagree, but we would respect their right anyway and I'm sure stand with them to make sure their rights are protected as well. It's a shame that they would not stand with us to protect the same rights we have. Some of these nay sayers will be the first ones that come running for help from the person who is armed and able to defend themselves when trouble arises and they find out that no one will be coming to help. There will be no bail outs if that happens.

In your city as in many others the citizens view of a gun is in the hands of a criminal and the mindset is to get rid of all the guns and reduce the problem. Please study up on the gun laws of Great Britain where your same method was used to reduce crime. They have basically banned all guns except for a few elite rich that can afford to keep their guns in some closet somewhere. The crime rate in that country has gone ballistic and there is no end in sight. Please do a little research, visit a gun club or shooting facility in your area, you will be surprised to find a lot of good people that share your views on crime but will never consider pointing a gun at you. If your city has a shooting crimes problem, you should be considering getting rid of the politicians that sit on their butts afraid to enforce laws that already exist to keep people like yourself safe from the criminals that are responsible for the crimes you mention. It has been said a million times before: "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" That is one thing you can be sure of. I hope things get better in your city.

I love that Texas video. You folks have it right ! I was born and raised in New York State, when someone hears a cork pop around here mostly the drunks and losers show up looking for that free drink. That is to be expected in one of the worst welfare giving states in the country. Make no mistake my southern friends, There are a lot of pro freedom, gun owning citizens up here and you can bet you last buck that we will not lay down and give up without a fight ! My guns stay with me.
