A couple of years back, my (soon to be ex) brother in law tried to bring the Pagan community together to fight child molestation within the community. Granted; his methods were a little crude, to say the least.
He soon found himself as an outcast.
Maybe this approach will achieve what his histrionics (& a certain public ritual) did not.

Good luck to you Jason, I hope it works.

Makes me wonder, what if the West Memphis police had tried to educate themselves, instead of listening to fundie wingnuts? Maybe all police should take their ques from Albuquerque.

From Wikipedia; "For most of Christianity's first thousand years, canonisations were done on the diocesan or regional level. Relatively soon after the death of people considered to be very holy people, the local Church affirmed that they could be liturgically celebrated as saints. As a result, St. Patrick has never been formally canonised by a Pope; nevertheless, various Christian churches declare that he is a Saint in Heaven (he is in the List of Saints). He is still widely venerated in Ireland and elsewhere today."

So, technically, he isn't even a true Saint?

"They say that one of the early "St. Nicholas" characters was only a thinly disguised Poseidon."

I've also heard that Thor was the original "Santa". lol

"Who do THEY know?! The best I seem to be able to find is clumsy and fully clothed dancing around a hibachi in a meeting hall parking lot or a public park!?"

I take it, you never got to go to "The Real Witches Ball" in Columbus, Oh.?
Somebody always managed to have an orgy every year, although there was never any fire (& almost never any ritual either). LMAO

Karlsefni,
This is more than a little off topic. It might be more appropriate to take your question to http://www.robinartisson.com/contact.html .

I believe, whenever we find politicians from our community, we should ask questions & remind them, whether they or we like it or not, the rest of this country sees them as representations of us.
Whether or not we are their constituents, we need to know where they stand. Who knows, these people could eventually gain the highest office in this country, wouldn't you like to know more about them before hand? Besides, do you think the Christian right takes things like districts into account when vetting out candidates of their faith? Why should we?

My comment on his page has been deleted without so much as an attempt at answering my questions.
As my comment was polite & respectful, I am led to believe this has more to do with personal bigotry or the usual political BS, than anything said by me.
