Hey, TriMet, can you say "PATCO"? Bust the union, get these dufuses in line and get about the company's business.......public entity "strikes", "sickouts", "blue Flu" etc. are, and should be, illegal. I workede for the Fed for 26 years, and this type of action was grounds for dismissal......and I paid (and still do) 1/3 of my monthly health insurance premiums, and I'm darned happy to do so....

Simple answer - call in the laptops and let each student provide his/her own or use public library computers to do homework. Why in the world is a school district providing laptops in this economy?
AT 16:23, the temp is 22.4 degrees, location is 1500 block of NE 242nd Ave. in Camas, WA, elevation 398 ft. Snow is falling to the point that we are in near white out conditions, no wind to speak of....I estimate we are getting around 1 " per hour or more. Snow is fine granules, very dry and dusty in nature. Keep up the great work, all of you, especially Rod & Rhonda!

Reporting from Fern Prairie, ne of Camas, Wa - location is 1500 block of NE 242nd Ave., elev. 350 ft. Heavy snow falling, accumulating at about 1' per hour. Temp is currently 23.4 degrees with winds gusting to around 20 knts. Visibility is near zero during gusts, 1 mile otherwise. Roads are snow covered ice, driveable, but dangerous.
Fern Praririe, ne of Camas - blowing moderate snow, gusts to around 12 - 15 mph, temp is currently 25.1 deg. Snow accumulation since last night, approximately 6"
