Had McCain won then he too would have pulled in a bunch of economic dolts to advise him to turn on the money machine, keep interest rates at near zero, and bail out anyone with political clout.

Hoffman places too much emphasis on unimportant issues on which he is wrong. For example his hatred of gays. To pull independents like me you need someone who is going to put the reduction of the size of government first. You can't do that while focusing on hatred of gays and intrusions into other peoples bedrooms.

So Obama thinks that the Muslim world should get money for flying planes into our buildings. No surprise when they use the money to invent even more powerful and stealthy suicide weapons.

Bob I think you need to examine history a little more closely and accurately. It's not a simple as conservatives are bad and leftists are good. Leftists invented facism, nazism, soviet style communism. They were deeply involved in forced eugenics. Since you appear to be from the US also consider that the Democrats were on the side of slavery, had ex-klansmen at the highest levels even very recently, cast less proportional votes for civil rights laws, funded the invention of the A-Bomb, etc.

The title of this article is very deceiving. Makes is sound like some criminal vandals snuck over to a bible on display and defaced it. That is NOT what happened. A bible was put on display specifically for the purpose of having people scribble their comments into it. In fact to "annotate it ... as a way of making more inclusive". In other words to correct it. Then some people had different opinions on how it should be corrected.

BTW, no Muslim group would ever put a Qur'an on display so people could write in it to make it less bigoted. Only some Christian groups would do this, for example Ministers from the Metropolitan Community Church. I mean why bother being a Christian if you think it's such a load of nonsense that the holy book needs correcting by random people who walk off the street. If you holy book has less wisdom than your random wino, gang banger, or performance artist then what's the point of reading it?
