I can't stand Fast Eddie Spendell. He is your typical democrat govenor, tax and spend, and tax some more. I heard that there is now a republican in the running for govenor, I forget who at this moment. I hope and pray we can get him out. So fed up with his policies of taxing us then giving to his "friends". There is also a youtube ad from Pa state reps about Rendell's math skills.
I applaud Honduras for their actions. Of course BHO is going to support a friend of his good buddy and fellow facist, Chavez. Their government upheld their constitution instead of shreding it like our current regieme is doing. Good job Honduras! No bloodshed either! Now if only our elected officials would start following our constitution....one can dream can't I?
I still like that it was call Crap and Trade. Now we can only hope that the Senate kills this abomination. It was a close vote, and good to see some of the democrats voted against it. I did email my senators and my rep, who said he was against it, but he has a tendancy to be like Specter at times. Charlie Dent does seem to go with the political winds at times, but he was supposedly adamantly against this bill. As for the senators, both democrat and I think they drank the cool aid so I'm not about to hold my breath that they will vote NO on this. I did tell them if they vote yes, they will not have a job next term. I wouldn't vote for them anyway. They are so in with Princess Pelosi and the rest.
I was praying that it would not pass on friday. There where things I wanted to do but, instead, I stayed close to a radio or tv for updates. Others were sucked into the Michael Jackson reports, which were used as yet another smoke screen by the state run media to cover up this abomination of a bill. I was suprised they didn't wait til 3 am to pass it in the night like they usually do. Like Oldmarine said, we need to keep this fight up. We told them we would vot against them, they would be out of jobs if the voted for it. Now we need to campaign against them
This is unreal. When is this constitution shreding going to stop? We really do need to draw the line in the sand and stand our groud. Time is up for the Washington elite that care only about poll numbers not their own people they supposidly represent.
The saying "guns don't kill people, people kill people" come into play here. Gun control will be about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. It will only serve to disarm and control law abiding citizens. The criminals will just get the weapons by other means, stealing, straw purchase, black market etc. Gun control will not stop that. If a criminal really wants to get a weapon, they will. I agree with Morgue, they can take away guns, but other weapons will then be used. I'm am also fed up with this political agendas to take away our freedoms and place us further under thier collective boot. DON'T TREAD ON ME!
I was happy when I heard this. We here in Pa have a few others that are known as "Arlen Spector Jr." Pat Toomey has him on notice and the people have flooded his office after his vote on the stimulus. He has for years been a RINO.
