News From Antiwar.com : WikiLeaks Email: Bin Laden's Corpse Not Dumped at Sea

The fact is that we will never know. Was it Bin Laden? We will never know. Was it Bin Laden, but he was already dead? We will never know. Was Bin Laden even real? We will never know. Is AlCIAda real or does it exist only in the abstract? It seems to me that we sure claim to know a lot about a group that simply pops up or disapears at will. Who isn't AlCIAda? Better yet how many times can we kill the same exact AlCIAda leaders? Did OBL have anything to do with 9/11? Sadly we will never know. What he was or what AlCIAda is remains a mystery, they are anything and everything our inteligence agencies want them to be.

News From Antiwar.com : US Eyes More Meddling in Nigeria: Experts Warn It Will Make Matters Worse

“Even if its just 20 troops you send, if it becomes known, you better watch out for bombs targeting the American embassy,” Campbell cautioned The UN has had troops there since 2003 and the majority of them are US troops. We are training their military, police, Coast Gaurd etc. Many of their troops are brought to the states and trained in what are basically Ranger Schools as well. We also hire private contractors to train them, for instance in 2005 we were paying DynCorp to do this. One month ago we sent a new group to extend and enlarge their "training mission". My best friends older brother is in command of the operation. The fact is that these stories about us possibly sending troop are always popping up and they always ignore the fact that we already have troops there. I would suggest to Cambell that the people of Liberia already know this, considering they bombed the UN building 6 months ago and killed 18 people. http://www.betterworldcampaign.org/un-peacekeepin...

Antiwar.com Blog : Deaths in Afghanistan Skyrocket under Obama

I take it that you were never sent there to fight. All I can say is trust me, we were fighting from day one. All Obama did was put more targets on the ground and can you tell me what good it has done? Ps. The blame Bush BS is getting old. He was wrong butt that doesn't make Obama right.

News From Antiwar.com : US Troops Barely Gone, But Iraqi Govt Coming Apart at the Seams

This was the logical outcome from day one. It's one of the reasons why there was no reason to have invaded let alone staying there. I agree with you that this was their goal from day one. I would also suggest that this is our foreign policy for the entire region. Havoc, chaos and confusion leads to weak nations. Weak nations pose no real threat to us or Israel. Sure they will have to put up with the constant threat of terrorism, but it's not like the government doesn't get something from that. They get the people looking to them for protection. This of course is what the entire war on terror is about. We keep nations weak, keep the bucks rolling into the MIC and drive the sheeple farther and farther into the hands of the State.

Antiwar.com Blog : Giving Refuge to Our Criminal Tyrant, Ali Saleh

To some our double standards seem shocking. However, I doubt that many readers of anti-war .com are even slightly surprised. Our double standards know no bounds as I'm sure we are all aware. People would ask why this man? The answer is simple, because the house of Saud demands it. When they say jump we say how high.

Antiwar.com Blog : Obama to 'Explain' Legal Reasoning Behind Awlaki Killing

So how many lawyers did our constitutional scholar need to hire before he found one that would put the proper spin on this one? One of the saddest parts of this is that many people support this decision. It shows just how little it takes for the American public to toss out their rights.

News From Antiwar.com : Boko Haram - An Overview on America's Latest 'Threat'

The Boko Haram is now a lot like Al Queda in that it's a catch all phrase for anyone who is ticked off at their messed up governement. In this case they have good reason to be mad. They have tons of oil but only a small percentage of the people get anything out of it. The government is very heavy handed and the average person is more afraid of their government then they are the Boko Haram. it's none of our business but we already have a large troop presence. My best friends brother is actually the colonol in charge of training their troops. Which is a joke considering he is National Guard but has never seen combat and was actually range control not counter insurgency.

Antiwar.com Blog : The War on Boko Haram, and the Hubris of Unwarranted Intervention

The "UN" has a fairly large presense there. Of course it's 90% US. We are also sending more troops there on the 3rd to "train" their military on counter insergency. My best friends brother is going to be the Commander/officer in charge (OIC) of the operation. This will be the first time he has been overseas, his job is normally the OIC of range control for a Nation Guard base. Atlhough he is a Lt. Colonel I don't think he has any experiece in counter-insurgency (possible a few weeks of book training) and I know that he knows nothing about Nigeria. He is a nice guy and all that, but I can't see how he could be put in charge of such a mission. If this is the kind of officers that we have been puting in charge of training in Afghanistan and Iraq it's little wonder why those missions have gone badly. Like I said he is a nice guy and he is professional, but he has no experience in this and it was sprung on him at the last minuet. More of us sticking our nose where it doesn't belong and doing it in a half arsed way.

They really believe that Libya was a success so now on to Syria. Someone needs to tell them that Syria is not Libya and that even little Libya was not a success at all. We should all keep an eye open for what comes next in Liberia as well. We are sending more "advisers" and "Trainers" there on the 3rd of January. I don't know if that has been reported or not. My best friends Brother will be the CO in charge of "training".

Once again Ron Paul is Spot On!! Ron Paul 2012!! I am a US Army Infantry Combat Veteran and I support Ron Paul. Support our troops by supporting Ron Paul, the only candidate who understands that wars should only be faught to protect our nation from immenent attack. I would suggest that if we elect another president who doesn't care about our constitution or our soldiers that you do not re-enlist or suggest that anyone does. The only just war is faught to protect your nation. Our current wars and our past wars have been wars of choice not neccessity. I learned that the hard way. It was a valueable lesson. However, not one person should have to learn it the hard way.
