He's not trying to erase it. He's trying to demonize it so that he'll look better. It's petty. Here's the silver lining. He gets this passed, he will be on the chopping block when his time is over. Does he really think we're that stupid?!

I am with you! To go after an administration and not the ones who did the deed??? Talk about splitting hairs! NO ONE SHOULD BE TOUCHED! A past administration is exactly that! Past! The fact that no administration has been subject to such is for a very simple reason. If they do this, every administration after will think twice about doing anything. Their actions are absolutely ridiculous not to mention dangerous.
Did the Japanese want information to save innocent victims??? Or did they do it just to do it??? Reports show they did that and much much worse to the Chinese and others just for the hell of it. While waterboarding can be considered torture, we did it for information to SAVE INNOCENT LIVES. How do you propose we attain information from an enemy? I am respectfully asking this question.
