Very typical of Washington State. The whole state is not liberal but is politically controlled by the west side Puget Sound region, Seattle, Olympia, Tacoma...Global warming is a HOAX...pure and simple. There is climate change but we puny humans really have nothing to do with it.
As an outcast conservative in Washington State I have been influenced by the "Green" movement. The green I am concerned about is in my wallet. I get my water for free from a well, I use a (gasp) wood stove to heat my home. I have replaced all my light bulbs with the ridiculous curly-que bulbs and have written plans for building solar panels and a home power station...all for the purpose of keeping the green in MY wallet. This will reduce taxes I pay on my living expense, get energy credits from PSE and eventually go "off the grid". It's all about the MONEY. Less impact on the environment is a side benefit that I could care less about...Save the whales! (until we get more tartar sauce) Earth First! (we'll log the other planets later)

Equality under the law!!. I think that Barney and the rest of congress should be held to the same standards under this bill. Using his own words we can throw the lot of them out of office for under performing!

Does it matter who wrote the article? A lot of those executives were working under a salary of $1...the bonuses were part of a LEGAL binding contract and neither congress nor the President has the authority to breach said contract...but they threw the Constitution out the window and did it anyway. They used intimidation tactics to get many of those executive to return all or part of the money THEY LEGALLY EARNED. That is what should be worrying you Birr. Also what "right-wing propaganda would you be referring to? You cast all blame on these executives and turn a blind eye to the major part played by government officials in this mess.
I concur with KingdomNow...just what would you give the congressmen who are ruining our country?

Twice I have tried to post and received the message "This comment is currently in moderation"...just what the heck does that mean? With some of the wild and rude comments I have read on the site by others mine was not a problem...I did not know that we were being "moderated"

As a 25 year veteran of law enforcement I appreciate all the comments of support for the Police. I am sure my brothers and sisters in blue down in Oakland would say the same. We all knew the dangers when we put the uniform on...damn shame that four good men had to pay the price. R.I.P. my brothers

Is it possible to get the names of those members of congress who voted yea for the tax on the AIG foks? And then bring some sort of action against THEM...for the willful multiple violations of the Constitution? A class action suit? Or are they exempt due to their lofty positions? Might be a silly question but there it is....

I am in complete agreement. It is a damn shame when we let the Trolls distract us from the purpose of this site. They are like unruly children. If you do not respond they will get bored and leave. Taking their bait only encourages them and brings other like them.
