No he's not: Rubio is the second son and third child of Cuban exiles Mario Rubio (1927–2010) and Oria Garcia (born 1931), and was born in Miami, Florida.

Rubio identifies himself as Catholic having been baptized, confirmed, and married in the Catholic Church, Rubio is fluent in Spanish. His father was a bartender and his mother worked as a hotel housekeeper in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rubio lived in Las Vegas from 1979 to 1985, before his family returned to Miami in the summer of 1985.

He's been discussed as a potential Presidential and Vice Presidential candidate for 2012 before he was even elected to the U.S. Senate. Obozo only served a total of 137 days in office before he was elected by moonbats and liberal loons to screw up our whole country and the economy of the entire world.

I think you're mixing up constitutions, Husker. The U.S. Constitution is intended to restrict the authority of the federal government, not the states. In fact it empowers the states to do everything and anything not enumerated to the federal government. Unless the sovereign state's constitution prohibited state-run health insurance, car insurance, or ownership of domesticated animals, it is "constitutional" within the state. The only things that are a violation of the U.S. Constitution in the sovereign states are the things named specifically in the U.S. Constitution - slavery, prohibiting women from voting, etc.

Just a thought on the history of our country: Do you think in the runup to the American Revolution the Redcoats had the same deer-in-the-headlights attitude as the TSA fondlers? Scary, isn't it?!

Coming back from Vets Day on the weekend I opted out and asked the fondler for his phone number. The supv. standing there watching (female) told me to "shut up." I asked her if she was officially taking away BOTH my 4th and 1st Amendment rights. She didn't say anything.

Looks like we need a 2012 replay of the Nov. 2010 shellacking. I'm afraid we're stuck with the unconstitutional and oppressive fondling until the rebellion of 2012. Or, if we wanted to emulate our patriot bretheren from two centuries ago....

Watch and see if it isn't all over the news at Fox starting tomorrow.

These are about the same clowns who tagged along behind Gov. Palin's every move while she was in the State House. They relished every one of the ethics charges unjustly leveled against her, and you might say, reported them with the same glee you hear in the phone recording.

How it must just rip their fur the wrong way to be called "corrupt bastards" by Palin now! And all they can do is sit there and take it, while their minions make up silly stories and excuses. Give 'em hell Sarah!

You're not making sense - a Fox shareholder was a financial contributor to the building of the mosque, and Fox personalities were condeming the building of the mosque. It sounds like they were doing what political commentators, as well as news reporters, are expected to do. If they had supported the mosque on air they would have been a paid promotion for it! By your somewhat suspect posting here (I've never heard about this supposed controversy anywhere else) you seem to be inferring some sort of hypocrisy or something?!

That term "Comrades" has been a bone of contention in the VFW for some time. In fact, several years ago there was a resolution at the VFW National Convention to change that means of addressing fellow members, due to the similarity to the way commies address each other. The term is somewhat traditional, dating back to WW-1 when soldiers were considered "Comrades in Arms." The resolution to change it to something else was defeated with the reasoning that the commies weren't going to dictate political correctness (or the term used at the time) to the VFW. The odd sounding term has continued to this day, though it is really the antithesis to the commie version.

By the way, Babs Boxer is not to be considered a "Comrade" in VFW terms, although there are probably some Europeans who would refer to her as Comrade Madam Senator Boxer. I just refer to her as "bitch."

I won't touch a Govt. Motors car anymore. My next car will be a Toyota, in order to keep them operating in the face of government attacks on their excellent product. Under Obozo our government has turned into a union of thugs!
