If GLEE's writers were as smart as they probably think they are, they would have the bullies sent to re-education camp, where they learn that if they want to initiate force on helpless victims, they should become "liberals" and work for the State.

I read the book and it was diverting, but left me with no great desire to read the rest of the series. When it comes to female private eyes, I much prefer Robert B. Parker's Sunny Randall.

They think they're free spirits but with certain exceptions they're pretty much lockstep State-cultists.
Now, now . . . I'm sure that for balance (because we all know "liberals" are the fairest, most open-minded people on Earth!) that this Muppet movie will be followed next year by "The Muppets Take on the IRS," in which, say, Alec Baldwin will play "Attilla von Jackbuht," the head of the IRS, the "liberals'" favorite goon squad.
Reminds me of all those posts in the pro-freedom blogosphere that all began, "I'm a lifelong Republican but. . . " and then would end up endorsing The Red Diaper Baby currently occupaying the White House.
I guess it was only a matter of time before The Hive (a term coined by, I think, Joseph Sobran, to denote the general tribe of "liberals," socialists and other tax-happy State-humpers) would annex The Muppets. The Hive's Agitprop Division, Hollywood Chapter, are turly the hardest-working people in show business. Ellsworth Toohey would be proud of them.
It's interesting that this dolt equates going after one's goals without use of force or fraud is, in his mind, the equivalent of "stepping on people." Tells you more about him than about Rand.
