21 weeks ago @ Big Government - Maryland ACORN Officia... · 2 replies · +2 points

Interesting,

I just sent the following email to Mr. Kettenring from my Gmail account and received the message: "Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:". So apparently he has shut down his email or his inbox is swamped.

My email read:

To Mr. Brian Kettenring,

I have just read the correspondence titled Statement from Margaret Williams, Board Member, Maryland and dated September 10, 2009 and posted at biggovernment.com and I am appalled at its content yet I rejoice that as an administrator for ACORN you allowed this memo was allowed to leave your office so that we all now truly understand the mentality of ACORN and its management.

In her memo, Margaret Williams fails to address the issue that your organization had two members who by all accounts were trained or educated, presumably by ACORN personnel or staff, in policies and ways to circumvent the legalities of the system is stunning yet not surprising. Her assertions that Fox News is somehow spreading racism and that their "irresponsible actions are the real news here" are nothing more than a typical misdirection attempt to take the spotlight off of the despicable actions of ACORN employees. And now we see that the actions of the two employees in your Baltimore office are consistent with the employees in your Washington D.C. office suggesting that these aren't rogue employees who simply "did not meet the standards of professionalism." I just wonder what other evidence they have that has yet to be revealed.

No Mr. Kettenring and Ms. Williams Fox News did not ask your employees to act in this vile manner nor did they ask the eleven down in Miami to violate the law, nor did they ask all the "rogue" employees facing voter fraud charges throughout the country to behave the way they did. You and your people are responsible for your own actions. Fox News, Glenn Beck, and the rest of the crew are simply reporting what you're doing and that in and of itself doesn't make them racist.

You know, decades ago people and companies use to cower when people or organizations (reputable or otherwise) would attack their prey with the allegation of "racist" or "racism". Well thanks to ACORN and similar organizations, you all have gone to the "racism well" one to many times and as a result you've effectively diluted its impact. However, in typical liberal fashion, Ms. Williams, and apparently you as well, has chosen to attack the messenger rather than the message.

And now I hear that the Census Bureau has severed its partnership with ACORN for the 2010 census (there is a God). Mr. Kettenring, you, Ms. Williams, and ACORN itself have done more harm to the minority community than Fox News, Glenn Beck, or those who investigated your pathetic organization could ever do.

I remain,
Ben Armato

Heard about your post from Rush! Way to b#$ch slap CNN for their negligence and then their abhorrent behavior after the fact. Fortunately we have Fox News whose ratings SMOKE the liberal media sources, oftentimes combined.

Continued success,

Fantastic job! The firing of these two women should have been expected and should not stop there. As Glenn Beck has pointed out numerous times on his show, the people of the front lines for groups like ACORN are pawns. They are nothing more than political collateral damage. A question to be asked, did their supervisors or manager know or should have known of the behavior of these two women.

Who trained these women? From where or whom did they receive this information? I mean for as disgusting and off-base as it was, they were clever in how to circumvent the system. Now that could have been just common sense these women were relying on (No, not a page from Glenn Beck's book), years of experience of having practiced what they preached, or it could have been "seminars" and in-house training from management that provided these women with their basic knowledge of how to get people into houses. Now if we can put aside the outrage of the child prostitution script and look at this in the sub-prime debacle, how much of the sub-prime lending what actually orchestrated by ACORN by obviously leading people, whom they knew were not "fit" to own a house, down this path?

Finally, and this might be difficult to discover without having a whistleblower, but how long has this activity been going on and while I know he will deny any knowledge but. Obama was their attorney at one point...

Please don't give up on this story. There is much more here. This was one office, how many more of their office are acting in the same manner? Since the MSM is not going to carry it, it is imperative that you, your staff, Fox News, Glenn Beck, et al. continue to expose this organization for the evil that it is.

Again, thank you for your fine work and continued success.

So where are all the Hollywood libs who "pledged" to support the president and his policy of "spread the wealth"? With all the "rich, capitalist elite" that Ms. Leibovitz has photographed over the years, one would think that one of them would jump in and lend a hand. I'm sure Clooney, Damon, Moore (both Michael and Demi), et al. have plenty of money to help someone who is apparently less fortunate at the moment.

NEW YORK (Sept. 16, 2009) - ABC News is officially changing its slogan: World News Tonight. Yesterday ABC News anchorman Charlie Gibson announced that he was unaware of two major stories impacting the nation. ABC's Marketing Division had developed the following slogan to used, effectively immediately.

ABC News will now carry the slogan: ABC New: What News Tonight?

I'm sure if Mark Lloyd tries going after Talk Radio, lawsuits will ensue probably all the way up to the Supreme Court. Hopefully during that time, he like Van Jones will be seeking employment elsewhere.

That said, HUGE kudos to the staff here for breaking this story and the NEA story and keeping us informed. Had it not been for you, Glenn Beck (where I first heard this story), and Fox News, no one would know about this story since no one in the MSM is carrying the story. That's fine, when it breaks and people are thrown under the bus, the liberals constituents will be left scratching their heads, once again a day late.
