Why are these Obama victories? Like everything else in the last two years, this has been a liberal congress powering through its own programs. Obama hasn't exercised any mysterious powers of persuasion. These aren't his programs. These are things the left has been trying to accomplish since the 80s, but they never had sufficient liberal members. The libs had the numbers and they passed their power grab. Now that the blue dogs are all gone, they could. Obama is a nothing. He may get the credit from the MSM, but this is all pelosi and reid counting votes.

Ralph Bakshi and the musical cartoon of Return of the King were more faithful to the books. Who was jackson to think he could improve on a 60 year old classic?? He failed to nonetheless.
