"The Conservatives could set out distinctive policies, based around getting powers back from the EU"

Not possible without leaving the EU - the Germans have already told us in no uncertain terms that there will be no repatriation of powers under any circumstances.

The voting public have gone way beyond accepting another grubby political compromise like that - the three main parties are no longer trusted - and with very good reason.

Ain't that the truth?

Heath, himself, actually admitted that he did it to sweeten the deal - so it came straight from the old horse's mouth.

Heath, gave away all our fishing rights as well as our farming rights just to "sweeten" his traitorous deal with Brussels.

Sweeten?" What a self-serving moron - grrr!

"The vote will be massively to remain in"

Sorry, old chap, I don't think you've been paying attention to what's actually going on out here in the real world - the vote will be massively to get out.

That's exactly the same as the wrecking amendment that the EUroplastic, Useless Eustice, tried to introduce at the last debate on the EU.

The only referendum question that the British people will now accept is "In/Out" - anything else is a pure political stitch-up and the public know it - besides, we've already been told in no uncertain terms by the Germans that there will be no repatriation of powers under any circumstances.

Once powers have been ceded to Brussels, that's it - the only way you can get them back is by leaving the EU. Time enough then to negotiate a new trade agreement.

"The truth is the electorate in the main are not greatly moved by EU withdrawal"

Dream on - you people need to get out more.
