The question to be asked is, why aren't we in control of our own government?

I also argue agains ratification. This appears to be an attempt to surrender the US to international control in clear defiance of our Constitution.

No taxation (or regulation) without representation. I find it incredulous that the left in Washington is not only pushing this bad idea, they're dodging any and all relevent questions about the details to the point of name-calling.

It's telling that communist leaders tried to assainate Mr. Wayne. They understood what he and his roles represented to the country.

Also telling is that communist infiltration of Hollywood was one of their stated goals as read into the Congressional Record in the early 1960's: http://backwardsboy.blogspot.com/2012/05/society-...

Dr. K is right. This administration is distorting the energy market by placing unneeded and outrageously expensive regulations on the industry, driving up the price and destroying jobs and tax revenue. Squeezing capital from the market deprives the sector of the money needed for research and development of new energy sources, thus requiring the government to subsidize what should be a self-sustaining market. As we have seen, subsidizing "green energy" has been a disaster for taxpayers, wasting billions of borrowed dollars on failed ventures like Solyndra in order to line the pockets of Obama's campaign contributors.

We have vast resources of energy right here in America. We cannot develop them due to the restrictions our own government has place on them. It's a policy that no other developed county follows.

Dude, the laws of physics demand an air/fuel ratio of around 14.5:1. Get too far away from that figure, the engine won't run. They're already getting as much mileage as they can for a race car.

The whole idea of a racing engine is to get as much fuel in each cylinder as possible to produce the maximum amount of power.

This is very good news.

Now that the hoax of man-made global warming (AGW) has be exposed, it's time to retire any and all legislation that pertains to it. Any elected official who still accepts this premise is incapable of thinking for themselves and is unfit for office. They should be voted out as soon as possible.

Americans need to be vigilant at the local level. The MSM will not report on issues like this. It's up to all of us take a leading role in local politics to prevent anti-American initiatives, especially with respect to the environment, (pushed by unaccountable bureaucrats in global organizations) from being implemented.

If I had only got here one hour earlier, I'd have posted the same comment. Also, Gary Sinise plays in a band, perhaps Rush could gget something from him.

I'm sure there are more conservative bands out there who'd love to fill the gap left by PG and Rush, small though it was.

Paging Ted Nugent...
