All voting Americans need to pay attention to is the attack coming against the U.S. Constitution’s 2nd Amendment from the UN and its gun control supporters.

On Feb. 25, 2009, Attorney General Eric Holder said the Obama administration will reinstate the federal ban on assault weapons and impose additional restrictions. They feel confident they can use the Mexican Drug Cartels as their righteous mandate, using false statistics and miss-information to mislead the American Public. Once again, the so-called socialist left will table thump their cause against the law abiding American Citizen instead of hunting down the real rogues, thugs, and drug gangsters. Once again, the socialist left will demand additional restrictions and more heavy handed regulations all aimed at disarming an American Public as opposed to really getting after the bad guys. Once again, the UN General Assembly is waiting in the background with another special treaty, outlawing all gun-ownership for all private individuals, namely Americans. They have succeeded in Europe and in Australia in disbanding and disarming the general public. Now the UN wants to disarm Americans.

Furthermore U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has announced many times that he is in favor of domestic American gun control, as favored by the International Action Network on Small Arms. Such regulation might require full registration, heavy taxes on ammunition, or declaring a band against ownership of any weapon that is not a single shot. Anti-Gun socialists and the members of the UN even want pump shotguns outlawed under this new concept of small arms gun control.

There is another worry as well. Accordingly, there exists a picture of President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden, all smiling, arm and arm with members of the International Action Network on Small Arms. Such organizations see the Obama Administration as being utterly sympathetic to all gun control causes and as a result, the UN is already demanding that the US Senate ratify their International Arms Treaty outlawing small arms.

Many political analysts think that Obama will try hard to please all of the political groups that supported him. The anti-gun-lobby was a key supporter of the Obama candidacy and they certainly feel that they were a major part of his being elected President. Now, they are clamoring for what they see as their due. Obama will support and lend credence towards the UN International Arms Treaty and push for its U.S. Senate Ratification. That way, he can claim success in taking away from all Americans their 2nd Amendment rights, while at the same time, stating that He personally did nothing against the 2nd Amendment, that he is just honoring the UN Treaty to stop Mexican Drug Lords.

Don't think that can not happen? Guess again.

Americans must remember that when the U.S. Senate ratifies a treaty, it becomes the Law of the Land, and can cause serious situational issues with our own Constitution and our Bill of Rights. The UN and its supporters of gun control are working very hard to usurp the U.S. Constitution’s 2nd Amendment by going under the radar with vague language that will cause our Bill of Rights to be submissive and compliant with a ratified UN Treaty and International Law as stipulated by the UN General Assembly.

Call or write your Senator and Congressmen today, and demand that ratification of any UN Treaty regarding Arms Control be struck down! Do not make the mistake of being silent on this matter….
