no 'claim comments' ability counts as a bug in principle, right?

You know half the pioneers wound up dying of starvation, or Indian attacks, or bad weather? right? Oh, and does that mean that the problem wasn't me?

I have insomnia too...I post things late at night. Anyway, they just frustrate me. But I won't complain, unless it gets screwy again.

I am now going to tell you that it took me about 5 minutes to actually get the system to accept that comment, and while it wouldn't accept it, and I tried to navigate away to other pages, it followed me. Then the system logged me out. ID just moved even further down in my estimation.

I still don't particularly like ID, nor do I like the fact that (after a month) they still haven't figured out how to set up a way to claim comments! But I'll try for you, Randy :::pouty lips:::

ETC: Everyday Thoughts Collected : Intense Debate Part II

Well I did, and then I found the satisfaction (or whatever that thing w/ all the cupcake avatars is) comments about claiming comments, and it doesn't look like they've been able to figure it out yet. If you'll recall, this was my biggest objection to Disqus (after we got the browser issues figured out). So I'm not really thrilled. Although objectively it seems like it might have more nice features than Disqus overall, I still don't really like ID. Plus your sidebar thing is really ugly/messy/illogical.

OK, what I want to know is, does Intense Debate let you claim your comments the way Disqus does? I want to be Ellie, in order to be consistent.
