I know what you're getting at. I don't like her. I don't like her clothes. I don't like what she says or what she stands for. I couldn't care less about her "wonderful" biceps.
But could we please, as conservatives, hold ourselves above the progressives who judge opponent women by their looks. We're better than that.

Well said, Hannah.

I always saw it as a harbinger of good when a few of the kids in my classroom, filling out one stupid federal form or another, asked me what they were supposed to fill in under "race." Often they had grandparents of several different backgrounds and the concept of race had carried, until then, literally no relationship to themselves, personally.
I hope and believe that real racism will become increasingly rare and decreasingly acceptable with each generation.

I think, though, that before you respond too quickly to any charges of racism the left may hurl at you, you should keep in mind the incident of Contessa Brewer and the Gun-Toting Racist of Arizona. That hateful, racist travesty was aired by only one network, it's true, but who on the left called them out on it? They are all complicit; they are all guilty.

They don't think you're racist. They don't care if you're racist. They just want you on the defensive, and they don't want to have to actually discuss ideas and principles with you. They think that calling you a racist will accomplish that. You're right, though, that they are discrediting themselves. Their numbers and their creditability keep falling. Keep after them. As long as they are making hysterical accusations, you know you're making headway.

Sorry to disagree, Sean, but I just don't see any benevolent way to interpret "exterminate." I know she said any number of things to put a pretty face on it, but I believe that when she said "exterminate" that's exactly what she meant.

If I remember the story correctly, thats how Yankee Doodle Dandy became a popular phrase and song. On the other hand, I was only very vaguely political until the President of the United States of America started insulting me. Now I'm devoted to crushing those liberal swine. (That's metaphor, Arianna, not a call to violence.)
I wonder if others aren't similarly motivated.

Does anybody know if that number is even close to accurate?
Yeah, I'm being lazy, but I'm all researched-out for the day. Thanks.

Just one more massively destructive decision from a man who not only doesn't understand the people of the United States, he really can't stand us. His disdain is becoming more and more apparent.

"It's "nothing short of a violent coup" but "[t]here's been no violence yet. Yep, this dude really has done a lot of thinking about this. Typical liberal.

As a retired teacher who really tried to teach reasoning and thinking skills, I can tell you that Moms and Dads are much more important than anyone at school. That said, though, I'm still appalled by the general level of what passes for education in this country these days. I would not put a child in the public school system if I could help it.
