Just imagine if those OWS losers got their demand...$20 an hour minimum wage, if they could just have that, along with free healthcare, education, and the other communist planks, everything would be fair. It's disgusting. I spent 5 years fixing aircraft in the Marines, and when I got out, I fixed planes for $12 an hour. They told me to get a FAA Mechanics license and they'd increase to 16 an hour. I spent 2 years going to school for that and when I finished, I got laid off. I then went about trying to find a job with my new license and could not, so I took a delivery job for a restaurant. I drove for 2 years for them and did things like dropped off menus at hotels, was friendly with regular customers. They then made me a manager because I helped to triple their deliveries. I hope to go back into aviation one day, but for now I'm earning a decent wage, and I don't feel it was given to me, it was earned.

I served in the Marine Corps for 5 years and last I checked, it's a volunteer force, which makes each and every Marine, soldier, sailor, and airmen a special breed of American. We weren't stupid when we signed up. We knew exactly where we could end up and we proudly served our country where we were needed. We went to kick some a** after 9/11 and we were told, here are the terrorists, here is Al Queda, here is the Taliban. I rode on an air force c-130 once to get to Iraq. There was something called a honey pot where we had to do our business. It was a can with a lockable lid that could be found in a smoking area anywhere on military installations, but I guess that's not good enough for government employees and politicians. It was the last resort if you failed to go before the flight, because if you used it, then you had to empty it when you arrived at your destination.

Although I do not agree with the ows protestors, I must say that they cannot be blamed for their mindset.
