RunePlanet Blog : Whats Next?

That is actually one of the problems I'm thinking about, as well as the tracking signatures dont keep the same IP :/...what I may end up doing is allowing the user to create a password/code (or generate one) that they can enter to redo their username.

RunePlanet Blog : Fight for your Rights

100% agree with this, it is totally bull that JaGeX removed tip.it because they had ads for other games, RUNESCAPES OWN SITE HAS PROVIDED WOW ADS FROM TIME TO TIME! JaGeX....I was just starting to believe you were for the players, Mark Gerhard was bringing you into the 2010 era, making you more player friendly, dont screw up the fansites, or you'll lose all you've worked for.

RunePlanet Blog : Equality in Runescape

I have left nothing out, if you have read the WHOLE story as to why JaGeX has a problem with me, and the site staff you would know I have not hidden anything, please do research before accusing me of hiding something. http://www.epicaaron.com/2009/12/jagex-plays-favo... there you go. Now as for Zybez, Zybez didnt accept the deal from Curse until AFTER JaGeX removed them because of them refusing to remove the ads. I know your website is biased to Zybez as when your website was fairly new I asked your site owner Ren to become affiliates, I was declined simply because I was (at the time) affiliated with Zybez, no other reason. Now I am starting to think that other fansites arnt afraid to speak out as I've gotten support from 2 other accepted fansites, which gives me hope. I wrote this to expose JaGeX, if I was going to hide something I wouldnt be poking JaGeX like this. Well enough of me defending myself, I answered your question, have a good day.

Yes, they are aloud to show other game ads, but if you do you will not be accepted into the approved fansite list. Its another, "do as we say, not as we do" thing like they did with rule breaking. There is a thread to post in to be reviewed to get mod, but I have no clue if it works or not.

Totally agreed, as much as I disagree with W13 on some things he owns one of the top Runescape fansites, and it deserves to be on the list. Glad we have some support from recognized fansite owners too ;P.

This is why you dont use un-official QuickPwn releases ;). Only download files that are provided by the dev-team. You could put your iPhone into DFU mode, restore to 2.2.1 and upgrade using RedSn0w I believe.

I believe they are still releasing QuickPwn, however this was just finished first, I am not positive, but I'd guess they will still release it. This is pretty much a light weight version of QuickPwn, it provides almost the same functions (at least for the iPhone 2G).
